Hey there, I´m Lucy

Why I Only Take on 10 Social Media Clients at a Time

Let’s get this out of the way upfront.

I could take on more social media clients.

I get asked all the time.
“Do you have room for one more?”
“Can you just squeeze us in?”
“Surely one extra client won’t hurt?”

But here’s the thing.
I don’t run Ambrose Marketing like a content factory.

I run it like a results-driven, relationship-based business where every client actually matters.

And that’s exactly why I cap my social media clients at 10.

Social media isn’t a set-and-forget job

Anyone can schedule a few Canva posts and call it social media management.

That’s not what I do.

Real social media management means:

  • Understanding your business goals

  • Knowing your audience inside out

  • Writing captions that sound human, not AI-generated fluff

  • Watching what’s working and what’s flopping

  • Tweaking content based on performance, not vibes

  • Staying on top of trends without jumping on every bandwagon

That level of care takes time, brainpower, and attention.

And those things don’t scale infinitely.

I refuse to be “that” agency

You know the one.

The agency where:

  • You never know who’s actually working on your account

  • Captions feel generic and interchangeable

  • Posts go out with spelling mistakes or the wrong location tagged

  • Messages sit unanswered for days

  • Reports are vague and full of fluff

That model only works when clients are numbers.

Mine aren’t.

I want to know your business properly

When you’re one of my social media clients, I know:

  • What services you actually want to sell

  • What seasonality affects your enquiries

  • What questions your customers ask all the time

  • What tone sounds like you

  • What content makes your phone ring

I can’t do that if I’m juggling 30 or 40 accounts.

Limiting my client list means I can stay deeply involved, not vaguely aware.

Quality content needs thinking time

Good content doesn’t come from rushing.

It comes from:

  • Strategic planning

  • Clear messaging

  • Thoughtful captions

  • Intentional calls to action

  • Content that supports your website, your Google presence, and your ads

If I overload my schedule, something gives.

And I refuse to let that be your results.

You get consistency, not burnout

This cap also protects consistency.

Because when I say I’ll:

  • Post regularly

  • Show up reliably

  • Stick to your content pillars

  • Keep your brand voice tight

  • Be responsive and proactive

I actually mean it.

Burnt-out marketers don’t deliver great results.
Focused ones do.

It also means I can say “no” when it’s not a good fit

Another benefit of staying small?

I don’t take on businesses I can’t genuinely help.

If your expectations don’t align, your budget isn’t realistic, or social media isn’t the right channel for your goals, I’ll tell you.

That honesty is only possible when I’m not desperate to fill endless slots.

This model protects my clients, and me

Capping my social media clients:

  • Protects the quality of my work

  • Protects my clients’ results

  • Protects my energy and focus

  • Protects the reputation of Ambrose Marketing

And honestly?

It makes me better at what I do.

Thinking about working together?

If you’re looking for:

  • A social media manager who actually cares

  • Content that supports real business growth

  • Someone who understands Google, websites, ads, and social as one ecosystem

  • A human who treats your business like it matters

Then yes, this approach is probably for you.

Just know this.
There are only 10 spots.
And they’re intentionally limited for a reason.

If you want to grab one when it opens up, reach out early.

Because once they’re full, they’re full.
